Iconic actress’s daughter Eva Amurri has exchanged vows with chef Ian Hock.
Amurri, 39, a talented actress and lifestyle influencer, is the daughter of the legendary actress and director Franco Amurri. She tied the knot with Hock in an intimate ceremony on June 29 in Hudson Valley, New York. (The happy couple announced their engagement earlier this year in February 2023.)
“Creating an intimate atmosphere with our nearest and dearest was our priority, and we wanted to make it as memorable for our children as it was for us,” Amurri shared with People magazine, describing her wedding as a “French garden party” with a “delicate chamomile flower” theme and a “soft palette of pale green and pale blue.”
Amurri also revealed that she wanted an intimate ceremony with only 40 guests, including her mother, the iconic actress, 77, and her ex, Tim Robbins. She added, “We crafted our own vows, writing love letters to each other, and it was perfect having our children as our bridal party. It was an unforgettable moment when my son, Major, walked me down the aisle.”
Amurri, a mother of three wonderful children—Marlowe Mae, 9, Major James, 7, and Mateo Antoni, 4—was previously married to Kyle Martino from 2011 to 2019. Reflecting on her wedding planning journey, Amurri shared, “Planning my second wedding was easier as I knew myself better and could focus on the little details that made our day so personal. I crafted the whole vibe myself, which was stressful at times, but worth it.”
Amurri’s choice of wedding dress reflected her unique style and elegance. She wore a stunning strapless gown by Kim Kassas, sourced from Bridal Reflections in New York City. “I adore the vintage feel of the dress, and it’s ultra-feminine without being overly dramatic,” she gushed. “I wanted to feel both sexy and elegant, and this dress achieved that balance perfectly.”
As the evening progressed, Amurri changed into a dazzling Kim Kassas minidress, paired with Nike Air Force Ones. Hock, looking dapper, wore a SuitShop navy blue suit. The couple’s two sons and the mother of the bride, the iconic actress, also wore outfits from SuitShop, with the latter donning a white suit adorned with a vibrant floral design.
In a previous interview with Us Weekly, Amurri offered a glimpse into her wedding dress choice, sharing, “I felt I had the freedom to be sexier this time around. The dress I chose is a reflection of the woman I am today—confident and comfortable in my skin.”
