Following a successful season with Real Madrid, in which he secured the Champions League, Spanish Supercup, and La Liga titles, manager Carlo Ancelotti embarked on a well-deserved vacation to Montana, affectionately known as Big Sky Country.
Ancelotti shared glimpses of his adventures in the remote state of Montana, just four weeks after his Champions League triumph. The Italian coach posted a photo on his Instagram story, showcasing his visit to the Sawmill Saloon in the quaint town of Darby, Montana.
Darby, nestled near the Montana-Idaho border, is a small community with a population of less than 1,000 residents. It is situated over an hour’s drive from the bustling college town of Missoula. Interestingly, the town is located close to a lake named ‘Lake Como,’ a namesake of its famous Italian counterpart, albeit much more secluded and less glitzy.

Ancelotti further embraced the local culture by going horseback riding, as evidenced by another photo he shared on Instagram with the caption, ‘When in Montana.’ This backcountry experience comes just weeks after Ancelotti led Real Madrid to a memorable victory over Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
Looking ahead to next season, Real Madrid is already undergoing changes. The team recently bid farewell to Karim Benzema, who departed after 15 remarkable years. Additionally, midfield veteran Toni Kroos has announced his retirement at the conclusion of the Euros.
However, Ancelotti will have the opportunity to work with new talent, including Kylian Mbappe and the highly touted Brazilian prodigy, Endrick. Despite the changes, Real Madrid remains a strong contender for back-to-back Champions League victories, second only to Manchester City in the odds for the upcoming season.
