Jared Goff, quarterback for the Detroit Lions, recently tied the knot with his fiancée, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Christen Harper, in a beautiful ceremony held in Ojai, California.
The couple first met in 2019 through the dating app Raya when Goff was playing for the Rams in Los Angeles. They returned to the west coast for their wedding, exchanging vows in a romantic outdoor setting at the Ojai Valley Inn.
Jared Goff and Christen Harper exchanged vows in a romantic California ceremony.
Goff looked dapper in a tuxedo with a bow tie, and even walked their adorable dog Quincy, who played a part in the ceremony. Harper was a vision in a strapless satin gown, her brunette tresses styled in loose waves, and completed her look with a billowing lace veil.
The happy couple got engaged during a trip to Mexico in June 2022, with Harper sharing a photo of her stunning oval-cut engagement ring on Instagram, captioning it: “Still on cloud 9 from the best weekend of my life.”
Family and friends shared photos and videos from the joyful celebration on social media.
The bride, Christen Harper, looked radiant in a form-fitting strapless white dress, complemented by a billowing lace veil.
The newlyweds were first linked in January 2019, just a month before Goff faced off against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII. Goff now leads the Detroit Lions and signed a lucrative four-year, $212 million deal with the team earlier this year.
Fans have affectionately dubbed the couple “the president and first lady of Detroit” in the comments section of Goff’s social media posts. The 29-year-old quarterback led the Lions to the NFC Championship game this year, their first playoff run since 2016.
With his new contract, Goff is now the second-highest-paid quarterback in the NFL, surpassed only by Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals, who signed a massive five-year, $275 million extension with his team.
Congratulations are in order for Jared Goff and Christen Harper as they embark on this new chapter of their lives together as husband and wife.
