Kourtney Kardashian is taking a stand against diet culture as she continues to embrace her postpartum body journey since giving birth to her son. Seven months after welcoming her fourth child with her husband, Travis Barker, the 45-year-old reality star shared an inspiring message with her over 223 million followers.
On Saturday, the Poosh founder posted a meme on her Instagram Story that depicted a woman standing on a scale with the text, “I’ve finally reached my goal weight of I don’t give a f**k. My body is the least interesting thing about me.” Kourtney added a heart-hands emoji and captioned the image, “Mood.”
Since becoming a mother again, Kourtney has been candid about sharing her experiences and offering advice to other new moms, including navigating body image struggles. This spring, she penned a heartfelt note to women who, like her, were adjusting to their bodies after pregnancy.

In her post, Kourtney gently reminded new moms to disregard the pressure to snap back to their pre-pregnancy bodies, emphasizing that it isn’t realistic. “Dear new mommies, Your body is beautiful at all stages. During pregnancy as we are glowing and growing, postpartum as we are healing and shrinking, and then that period I find the hardest as our bodies are still adjusting,” she wrote.
The mom of four continued, “And if you’re breastfeeding, that’s a whole other part of it. I try to be kind to myself as my body finds a new normal. The pressure put on us to bounce back when everything is new and different isn’t realistic.” She concluded her message with a positive affirmation: “Life is beautiful, you are beautiful. Just a little reminder (for me too). XOXO,” along with a white and blue heart.
The Instagram slideshow she shared featured Kourtney in a black bikini, beaming as she stood in the ocean. This isn’t the first time Kourtney has opened up about her postpartum journey. In May, she admitted that she felt “not quite ready” to do a photoshoot in a form-fitting dress for The Kardashians just three months after giving birth.

Despite having her baby boy with her on set, Kourtney confessed that she felt uncomfortable being “covered in makeup, in high heels, and wearing a dress” after spending months at home in pajamas. However, she also shared that she had been working on shifting her mindset and focusing on the positives, like being able to bring her baby to work and spending time with her sisters and mom.
Kourtney’s honesty resonated with many fans, with one commenting, “On behalf of postpartum moms everywhere…thank you ❤.” Another new mom shared that Kourtney was “Inspiring me to embrace the body that gave me my son ❤.” A third fan raved, “This is why you’re the best Kardashian.”

Earlier this year, Kourtney also clapped back at a troll who criticized her new curves, declaring, “I LOVE this body that gave me my 3 big babies and my little baby boy.” Around the same time, she shared postpartum tips on clothing, hair, makeup, and breastfeeding on her Instagram Story.
“Getting dressed postpartum while breastfeeding = throwing on an oversized coat, flat shoes pretty much always,” she wrote. “Leggings, sweats – anything baggy and comfortable aka husband’s vintage T-shirts and Dickies. Anything super fast to throw on. Less time away from my baby the better.”
