Travis Kelce Teases ‘Four to Five’ More Years in the Game, Leaving Chiefs Desperate to Keep Their Star Tight End

In a recent interview, Chris Jones expressed his intention to play out the remainder of his current contract with the Kansas City Chiefs and possibly beyond, stating that retirement is not on his mind at the moment. Jones, a defensive tackle for the Chiefs, signed a new five-year deal with the team in March, indicating his commitment to the organization.

Jones shared his thoughts on retirement, saying, “Once you start entertaining those thoughts, you’re feeding your mind with those ideas.” He further emphasized his desire to continue playing by referencing his long-time teammate, Travis Kelce, saying, “I don’t even want to think about retirement. As for Kelce, he still has four or five more years, right?”

'He's got a good few years left,' says Jones about his teammate.

Chris Jones intends to play for several more years, alongside his teammate Travis Kelce.

Jones added, “We can’t let TK [Travis Kelce] go. It’s like we have to retire together. Give me at least four or five years, then we can talk about it.” The Mississippi alum has won three Super Bowls alongside Kelce and is aiming to be part of the first NFL team to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

This news comes after Kelce’s recent comments about his own retirement plans. In an interview with The Athletic, Kelce shared his love for the game and his desire to play “until the wheels fall off.” He also acknowledged that there are opportunities outside of football for him but emphasized that he still enjoys coming to work every day.

Kelce is committed to playing football for as long as he can.

Travis Kelce, star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, has expressed his desire to play football for many years to come.

The Chiefs rewarded Kelce with a well-deserved pay raise, making him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.

The Chiefs showed their appreciation for Kelce’s talent and dedication by giving him a substantial pay raise.

The Chiefs tight end’s dedication to the game was recently rewarded with a new two-year contract, making him the highest-paid player at his position in the NFL. With a fully guaranteed annual salary of $17 million, Kelce’s passion and talent for the game are undeniable.

Kelce has expressed his interest in pursuing a career in TV analysis after his playing days are over.

When the time comes for Kelce to hang up his cleats, he has his sights set on a career in TV analysis.

While Kelce is focused on his playing career, he has also shared his plans for life after football. On his New Heights podcast, Kelce revealed his aspiration to follow in the footsteps of his older brother, Jason, and become a TV analyst.

For now, both Jones and Kelce are committed to their team and their passion for the game. With their dedication and talent, the Chiefs are in a strong position to pursue another Super Bowl victory.
