Ariana Grande to Keep Working with Ex-Manager Scooter Braun’s HYBE – Months After Parting Ways and Amid His Star-Client Exodus

is set to continue her professional relationship with ex-manager Scooter Braun, despite parting ways with him in December 2023. The singer, 31, shocked the industry when she left Braun, 42, after more than a decade, during which he helped launch her career with her debut album, “Yours Truly.”

While Grande has signed a new management deal with Good World Management’s Brandon Creed, she remains contractually tied to Braun and his entertainment platform, HYBE. The singer and HYBE released a joint statement expressing their intention to maintain their long-standing partnership and pursue creative ventures in Weverse and REM Beauty.

Braun, who is also the CEO of HYBE America, still manages prominent artists such as Justin Bieber. However, there have been reports of other artists, including Demi Lovato and Carly Rae Jepsen, leaving his management in recent months. Despite the changes in management, Grande’s business ventures, including her makeup line, R.E.M. Beauty, continue to thrive with investments from HYBE America and other major companies.

Insiders have revealed that despite Grande’s desire to move on from Braun, she remains contractually bound to him, which includes ongoing financial obligations. This situation has led to legal proceedings over the contract’s termination and the entitlements of each party.

In addition to his work with Grande, Braun’s company, HYBE America, has investments in various industries, including music and beauty. The company acquired Ithaca Holdings, the parent company of Braun’s talent management firm, for $1.06 billion in 2021. HYBE America is also a significant investor in Grande’s R.E.M. Beauty line.

While Grande navigates her professional relationships, she continues to focus on her work and pursue new creative endeavors.

Grande continues to work with HYBE America, which is a major investor in her beauty brand, R.E.M. Beauty.
