Brandon McManus Disputes Lewd Acts Claims, Legal Team Labels ‘Blackmail Plot’

The legal team for Brandon McManus has vehemently refuted allegations that the NFL player sexually assaulted two women during his tenure with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

According to a lawsuit, two unnamed women are suing the Jaguars and McManus, claiming that he sexually assaulted them on a team flight to London last year and seeking damages exceeding $1 million. The women assert that McManus rubbed and grinded himself against them and that the Jaguars failed to properly supervise their player or ensure a safe environment for staff.

However, McManus’ lawyers have vehemently denied these allegations, calling them “fictitious” and “false” and suggesting that they are an “extortion attempt.” They intend to vigorously defend McManus’ rights and clear his name, showing that these claims are baseless.

The Jaguars played two games in London during the 2023 season, and McManus participated in both. He was not re-signed by the team at the end of the season and has since signed a lucrative contract with the Washington Commanders.

The Commanders organization has stated that they take such allegations seriously and are looking into the matter. Meanwhile, the Jaguars have acknowledged the significance of the claims and emphasized their commitment to an organization of high character and class.

The lawsuit details the women’s accounts of the incident, with one woman alleging that McManus attempted to kiss her during turbulence and grinded against her on multiple occasions. The other woman claims that McManus grinded against her while she was serving meals and that she experienced severe mental anguish and distress as a result.

McManus’ legal team is determined to protect his rights and refute the allegations, while the NFL and the involved teams are addressing the matter with the utmost seriousness.
