“You’re a jerk, dude,” Strickland began. “You act like a [expletive] girl. You pet [expletive] goats and you pose for [expletive] photos. Like, toughen up, man.”

Brady had previously expressed regret about some of the jokes made during his roast, particularly those aimed at his ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen, and his family. In an interview, Brady shared that while he enjoyed the jokes directed at him, he didn’t like how they affected his children.

“I loved when the jokes were about me. I thought they were so fun,” Brady said. “I didn’t like the way they affected my kids. It was the bittersweet aspect of when you’re doing something you think is one way and then you realize I wouldn’t do that again because of the way it affected the people I care about the most in the world.”

Bundchen was reportedly upset by the jokes about her former marriage to Brady, with a source telling People that she was “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family” during the roast.

The roast included jokes about Brady’s divorce from Bundchen, with comedian Nikki Glaser referencing the martial arts skills of Bundchen’s alleged new boyfriend, jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente. “How much would it suck for Tom… knowing your ex-wife’s new boyfriend could beat your [expletive] while eating hers,” Glaser joked.

Kevin Hart, the roast’s host, also joined in on the jokes about Brady and Bundchen’s breakup, saying, “You sometimes got to [expletive] your coach… You know who else [expletive] their coach? Gisele. She [expletive] that karate man.”

Strickland has a history of making highly controversial and offensive comments. In 2021, he claimed that having a gay son would mean he had failed as a father, and he has also expressed homophobic views in the past. Additionally, Strickland has made misogynistic comments, including stating that women need to be “put back in the kitchen” after a fight last year.
