The fourth installment of the hit animated film franchise will see the return of Carell as the voice of Gru, along with Ferrell as Maxime Le Mal, Wiig as Lucy, King as Poppy, and Cosgrove as Margo. The movie will also feature Sofia Vergara as Valentina and Fineman as Patsy Prescott.
The official logline for Despicable Me 4 teases: “Gru welcomes a new member to the family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad. Their peaceful existence soon comes crashing down when criminal mastermind Maxime Le Mal escapes from prison and vows revenge against Gru.”
The film is set to be released in theaters across the United States on July 3, 2024.
