The stage is set for the revamped Champions League, with Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa, and Arsenal discovering their opponents for the group stage.
In a glitzy ceremony in Monaco, the British teams learned their fate, with each side set to play eight fixtures – a minimum of two more than the previous format.
Premier League champions Manchester City will face Inter Milan, Juventus, Sporting Lisbon, and Sparta Prague, among others. Meanwhile, Liverpool, under new boss Arne Slot, will take on Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan, and Leipzig.

Arsenal, meanwhile, will face Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, and Monaco, among others. Aston Villa, making their return to the competition after 41 years, will take on Bayern Munich, Juventus, and Celtic.
The draw also marked a significant change in the competition’s format, with teams no longer filtering into the Europa League. The 16 highest-ranked teams will progress to the next stage, with teams from the same nation unable to be drawn against each other in the initial league phase.
A full schedule, including the dates of all fixtures, will be announced on Saturday.
In the revamped format, Manchester City will look to avenge their defeat in last year’s quarter-final, while Liverpool will aim to continue their European success under new management. Arsenal will be desperate to get their hands on the famous trophy, while Aston Villa will look to make a statement in their long-awaited return to the competition.
