The Rise and Fall of Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green’s Friendship
Tori Spelling recently sat down with her former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Brian Austin Green on his podcast, “Oldish,” and the two got emotional discussing the downfall of their once-close friendship.
The actors reminisced about their time on the popular show, which ended its 10-season run in 2000, and how they lost touch after the series finale.
Tori recalled their last conversation, tearfully admitting that she felt like they were going through a “divorce” because they were so close, but she believed they would eventually drift apart.
Brian reassured her that they would always be connected, but they didn’t speak again for nearly two decades.
Brian revealed that he attempted to reconnect with Tori during a gathering at her then-boyfriend Vincent Young‘s home, but he felt like Tori gave him the cold shoulder.
He also shared that he tried to visit Tori and call her on the phone, but he eventually gave up after feeling like his efforts weren’t reciprocated.
Tori confessed that she was in a toxic relationship with Young, which caused her to distance herself from Brian.
She also acknowledged that she wasn’t fully supportive of Brian’s relationship with her former friend Vanessa Marcil, which further strained their friendship.
However, the pair have now reconciled, working through their issues and rebuilding their bond.
