Kelsea Ballerini is seeking support from her fans during a difficult time for her beloved dog, Dibs.
The country singer, 30, took to her Instagram Story on Sunday to share a heartfelt message alongside a photo of her pet. “My sweet Dibs needs big prayers and healing energy sent his way,” she wrote. “Send our boy some love.”
Ballerini didn’t disclose any specific details about Dibs’ condition, but her request for well-wishes has sparked concern among her fans. Dibs, whom Ballerini adopted in 2015, has been a frequent fixture on her Instagram account over the years.
In recent weeks, Ballerini has shared adorable photos of Dibs, including a post featuring her dog playing in the pool, which she captioned, “Some 🐂 for your Tuesday.”

Dibs and Chase Stokes’ dog, Milo, appeared alongside Ballerini in a celebratory Instagram post last month. The singer has also been running Dibs’ own Instagram account, which features adorable photos of the pair playing in the snow.
Ballerini adopted Dibs in 2015, during the early days of her career. In a 2020 Pedigree commercial, she explained that having a dog helped her feel at home while touring. “Dibs came into my life when I got my first tour bus. I think dogs kind of make home wherever you are, and so, for me, he’s always made it feel like home,” she said.
The “Peter Pan” singer has been open about her bond with Dibs, sharing that it took some time for her then-husband Morgan Evans to win over her dog’s affection. Ballerini has since divorced Evans and has been dating actor Chase Stokes since 2023.
