The Los Angeles Rams entered the 2023 NFL season with a cloud of uncertainty surrounding them, but under the guidance of Sean McVay, they emerged as one of the season’s biggest surprises, with rookie wide receiver Puka Nacua bursting onto the scene as a potential superstar.
In his inaugural season, Nacua went from relative obscurity to household name, hauling in 105 passes for 1,486 receiving yards and six touchdowns, leaving the Rams optimistic about his future prospects.
While Puka Nacua is basking in the limelight, his older brother Samson Nacua is attempting to make a name for himself with the New Orleans Saints, and he may have taken a significant step in that direction on Sunday.
Samson Nacua narrowly missed pulling off one of the most astounding touchdown runs of the NFL preseason, catching a missed field goal and sprinting towards the end zone before ultimately stepping out of bounds, as showcased on the NFL’s Twitter account.

Although Samson Nacua didn’t quite manage to complete the remarkable play with a touchdown, it was still an impressive display that could significantly boost his chances of making the Saints’ final roster ahead of Week 1.
Only time will tell if Samson Nacua can replicate his younger brother’s success in Los Angeles, potentially catching passes from veteran quarterback Derek Carr and carving out a significant role for himself in New Orleans.
