J Lo and Ben Affleck’s Multi-Million Dollar Mansion Stalemate
No Takers for the $68M Beverly Hills Estate
Following the Couple’s Sudden Divorce Announcement
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck‘s luxurious Beverly Hills mansion, valued at a staggering $68 million, remains unsold after over a month on the market.
According to multiple Los Angeles real estate insiders, there has been no significant interest in the property, despite the recent drama surrounding the couple’s divorce. It appears that even the sensational news of their split has failed to spark any serious buyer interest.
The 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom estate has had numerous showings since its public listing in July, but no substantial offers or deals have been made.
One real estate expert believes the property’s slow sale may be attributed to the challenge of selling a recently purchased property at a significantly higher price. This is particularly true in the case of Jen and Ben’s mansion, which they acquired for just over $60 million last year and invested a substantial amount in renovations.
It’s proving difficult to justify the $8 million price increase in less than a year, making it a tough sell to potential buyers. Furthermore, the pool of potential buyers who can afford a $60-million-plus mansion is extremely limited.
Another real estate agent notes that the current market conditions, characterized by high interest rates, are also contributing to the slow sale of the property.
Following the news of their divorce, J Lo promptly filed for divorce at the L.A. County Superior Court, with sources indicating that there was no prenuptial agreement in place.
In the aftermath of their split, Ben Affleck has since purchased a new $20.5 million mansion in Brentwood, effectively closing the chapter on the couple’s shared estate.
