Newcastle Fans Get Mesmerizing 3D Light Extravaganza; Club Icons Take Center Stage in this Unique Tribute Display

Newcastle fans were recently treated to a captivating light display by club sponsors, Sela, in a celebration of the club’s rich history and its passionate fanbase.

Over 10,000 fans gathered on the Newcastle Quayside to witness this unique spectacle, which featured iconic moments and legendary figures from the club’s past projected onto the Baltic Flour Mills.

Titled ‘We Are One’, the 3D show was a first for a Premier League sponsor and marked the one-year anniversary of Sela’s partnership with Newcastle United.

The show also highlighted some of the club’s most memorable moments, including Shearer’s unforgettable volley against Everton in 2002 and David Ginola’s stunning goal against Ferencvaros in the 1996 UEFA Cup.

In addition to celebrating the men’s team, the event recognized the achievements of Newcastle’s women’s team, who earned promotion to the Championship last season, as well as fan favorites like Tino Asprilla.

As the show drew to a close, fans were treated to a preview of the club’s official shirt for next season, accompanied by the message, “And this is only the beginning,” which was met with enthusiastic cheers from the crowd.

Sela, FIFA’s first recognized player representation company, has a diverse portfolio spanning sports, entertainment, and leisure industries. Their partnership with Newcastle United has been marked by a series of innovative initiatives, including the introduction of haptic shirts designed to enable deaf or hard-of-hearing fans to feel the vibrant atmosphere of St James’ Park.
