Zach Ertz, the seasoned tight end for the Washington Commanders, has just experienced the most unforgettable year of his life, and it has nothing to do with his football performance.
In a heartwarming announcement on social media, Ertz and his wife, Julie, revealed the arrival of their twin sons, Kyren and Kace.
Ertz fam just gained a couple new members!
Congrats Julie and Zach

This life-changing event comes just two weeks before the start of the season, providing Ertz with a fresh source of motivation.
After spending the previous three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, Ertz is set to play his first season in Washington, where he’ll be reunited with Kliff Kingsbury, the Commanders’ offensive coordinator and his former coach.
The 33-year-old signed a one-year deal worth up to $5 million, securing a bright financial future for his twin sons.
Last season, Ertz played in only seven games before a quad injury cut his campaign short. Despite this, he managed to record 187 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Although he may not be the same dominant force he was during his time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Ertz remains a formidable mismatch in the end zone, boasting secure hands and the ability to overpower defensive backs.
The Commanders are counting on a healthy Ertz to become one of Jayden Daniels’ go-to targets in the middle of the field.
As Ertz enters the twilight of his professional football career, the arrival of his twin sons may be the catalyst for a memorable season.
