The former UCLA Bruin made a lasting impression in the Chiefs’ preseason game against the Chicago Bears, despite the team’s 34-21 loss.
Steele’s impressive stats include four carries for 50 rushing yards, with a highlight-reel 36-yard touchdown that left fans in awe.
Early in the second quarter, Steele broke through the Chicago defense, using a devastating stiff-arm to plow through Roschon Johnson and reach the end zone. By the time he scored, Steele was surrounded by seven white jerseys, who collectively failed to contain him on his run.

So far in the preseason, Steele has made his presence felt with 11 carries, 11 avoided tackles, and 87 rushing yards – 81 of which were created after initial contact.
After going 0-3 in preseason games, the Chiefs’ title defense will begin on September 5 when they host the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead for their season opener.
