Reality TV star Kailyn Lowry, 32, has announced her engagement to boyfriend Elijah Scott, 26, on her podcast, Coffee Convos.

Lowry shared the exciting news with her cohost Lindsie Chrisley, revealing that Scott had proposed to her with a stunning diamond ring. The Honesdale, Pennsylvania-born star explained that she wasn’t married yet, but was sporting the engagement ring, which is typically given before the wedding.

Lowry mentioned that Scott had previously asked her to marry him, but she didn’t take the proposals seriously since they weren’t accompanied by a ring. However, this time, he surprised her with a beautiful ring, and she was overwhelmed with emotion.

The Honesdale, Pennsylvania-born reality star revealed the news to her cohost Lindsie Chrisley, who asked her if she was wed or not.

Lowry shared that Scott’s non-traditional proposal, which took place in the bathroom, caught her off guard. She mentioned that Scott didn’t get down on one knee, as they’ve both been married before and don’t feel the need for a romantic, over-the-top proposal.

The MTV star said she prefers to avoid being the center of attention and would have been happier if Scott had simply left the ring on the table and walked out.

Lowry, who has seven children from previous relationships, shares twins Valley and Verse, eight months, and son Rio, one, with Scott.

Lowry said that Scott had asked her to wed before, but she didn’t take the proposals ‘seriously’ since they were not accompanied by a ring 

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Lowry praised Scott for his calm and collected demeanor, saying he’s an “angel on this earth” and that she doesn’t know what she did to deserve him.

Lowry also mentioned that Scott has seamlessly blended into her family, and that her kids love him. She shared that Isaac and Elijah are best friends, and that Lux and Creed think he’s the “cool dad.”
