Taylor Swift’s Boyfriend Travis Kelce Urges Her to Boost Security After Foiled Terror Plot
Following a recent terrorist attack plot targeting Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Austria, her boyfriend Travis Kelce is advising her to prioritize her safety and bolster her security measures.
The NFL star was devastated when three teenagers were arrested in Vienna for targeting Swift’s shows earlier this month, leading to the cancellation of her three scheduled performances in the city. This incident came on the heels of a stabbing at a Swift-themed dance class in Southport, England, which claimed the lives of three girls.
Kelce, who was in the United States preparing for the NFL season at the time, wants Swift to focus on staying safe. A source close to the couple revealed that Kelce spent “hours” on the phone consoling Swift when she had to cancel the shows.
“Travis is telling her to make her own safety a top priority and wants her to get even more security,” the insider said. “He can’t do much else, aside from pray that she’ll be OK. It’s been so horrible, he hated having to sit back and do nothing but wait.”
Travis Kelce wants Taylor Swift to bolster her security after threats to her Eras Tour shows
Swift had to cancel her three shows in Austria after police foiled a terror attack in Vienna. Kelce wants her to focus on her safety, and the source added that he was relieved she canceled her Austria tour dates.
“Money isn’t everything and Travis is proud of Taylor for doing the right thing and canceling her shows,” the source said. “Putting her life and the lives of her fans at risk simply isn’t worth it, no matter how disappointing it is for people or how much money it cost her.”
Swift ended her European Eras Tour in London last weekend and now has nearly two months off before resuming live shows in Florida. She is expected to attend the opening game of the NFL season, where Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs play the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Kelce, 34, and his Chiefs team are targeting football history this season by becoming the first team to win three straight Super Bowl titles. Swift is expected to spend more time with Kelce in Kansas City as her touring winds down around his football commitments ramping up.
Kelce owns a $6 million mansion in a gated community in Kansas City where he will be based for the season.
