Aaron Rodgers’ family feud took an unexpected turn when his parents attended his Jets game against the Bills last fall.
According to a new biography, Rodgers’ parents, Ed and Darla, have had virtually no communication with their son since 2014, but they put their differences aside to attend his Jets debut.
The biography also reveals that Rodgers was aware of his parents’ presence at the game, despite tearing his Achilles tendon in the first series and not playing for most of the game.

The biography also explores the reasons behind Rodgers’ feud with his family, including his previous relationship with actress Olivia Munn.
According to the biography, Munn sent Rodgers’ parents a voicemail in 2014, telling them she didn’t want them to meet her in Tampa Bay or attend a game at the Bucs that they had previously planned to attend.
This led to a rift between Rodgers and his parents, with his mother, Darla, reportedly mortified that Munn was having intimate relations with Rodgers before marriage.
Munn also spoke publicly about her intimate life with Rodgers, which reportedly “really upset” Darla.

Rodgers has denied that Munn was the cause of his rift with his parents, saying that the issues predated their relationship.
The quarterback also expressed frustration with certain stories in the biography, saying they were “exaggerated over time.”
Rodgers’ former junior college football coach also spoke out, criticizing those who “can’t be hanging on your coattails their whole lives.”
‘It’s not a book I asked him to write for me,’ the Jets quarterback said of author Ian O’Connor
Rodgers and his younger brother Jordan began speaking again in 2022, and the quarterback and his father briefly reconnected at a celebrity golf tournament in 2022.
