Conor Gallagher Wows Atletico Madrid Fans with 10-Word Spanish Message at Unveiling Ceremony
Former Chelsea captain Conor Gallagher made a thrilling debut at Atletico Madrid’s Metropolitano Stadium on Wednesday night, winning over thousands of fans with a heartfelt 10-word message in Spanish.
Just hours after finalizing his £34million transfer from Stamford Bridge, the 24-year-old England international walked onto the pitch, flanked by motorcycles and fireworks, and waved at his new supporters while donning his new No 4 shirt.
Gallagher then surprised the boisterous crowd by delivering a brief message in Spanish, saying: “Hola. No habla mucho español. Estoy muy feliz. AUPA ATLETI.” The crowd erupted in cheers, thrilled by his effort to communicate in their native language.
