Aaron Rodgers, the New York Jets’ quarterback, has been actively participating in training camp without any limitations following his torn Achilles injury last year, as he prepares for Week 1.
The Jets held a joint practice with the New York Giants on Wednesday, and Rodgers expressed his enthusiasm about seeing rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers in action.
During the press conference, Rodgers confessed that he was excited to witness Nabers’ skills and believed it would be a valuable opportunity for him to face off against the Jets’ top cornerbacks.
Rodgers admitted he’s looking forward to seeing Nabers during the joint practice, thinking it’ll be a fun challenge with the starters taking most of the reps.

Rodgers views joint practices as equivalent to preseason games and is eager to mix it up with another team, complimenting the Giants’ defensive line before expressing his anticipation of seeing what Nabers is capable of.
The Jets and Giants will face off in their preseason finale on Saturday, which will be the only time they meet this season.
Rodgers has yet to participate in preseason action, but this is by design and not due to health concerns, while Nabers caught four passes for 54 yards in his preseason debut, providing a glimpse into his potential as the centerpiece of the Giants’ offense.
With Saquon Barkley no longer on the Giants’ roster, Nabers was drafted sixth overall to provide Daniel Jones with the support he needs to prove himself as the franchise quarterback as the team transitions away from its previous run-first approach.
