Jax Taylor’s Road to Recovery: Leaving Treatment and Returning Home
After a month-long in-patient treatment program, Jax Taylor is finally heading home to reunite with his loved ones. The 45-year-old reality TV star has been open about his struggles with mental health, and his recent treatment has been a crucial step towards recovery.
A representative for Taylor confirmed the news, stating, “Jax has spent the last 30 days in treatment and will be heading back home later this week. It’s been an emotional month for him, and he’s most looking forward to spending time with his son.”
In addition to his personal life, Taylor is also set to return to work, filming season 2 of The Valley, which is currently in production.
Taylor’s journey to recovery comes after a tumultuous few months, which saw him enter treatment amid his separation from wife Brittany Cartwright, with whom he shares 3-year-old son Cruz.
“Working on getting better for you buddy, I love you. ❤,” Taylor captioned an Instagram photo with Cruz in July.

Cartwright, 35, announced in February that she and Taylor were taking time apart and that she had moved out of their marital home. In a recent podcast episode, Cartwright shared that she felt she let various issues in their marriage slide over the years, leading to the breakdown of their relationship.
In April, Cartwright opened up about her decision to leave Taylor, stating that she had forgiven him for past mistakes but ultimately felt worn down by their tumultuous relationship.
On a May episode of their podcast, Taylor revealed that the couple had agreed they could see other people, with Taylor adding that this was what was best for their marriage at the time.
As Taylor returns home, fans will be eagerly watching to see how his journey to recovery unfolds.
