Caught with Massive Marijuana Haul
Over 100 Pounds of Weed Seized!
Ariana Madix‘s brother, Jeremy, is facing serious legal trouble after being busted with an enormous quantity of marijuana. According to authorities, Jeremy and his accomplice were caught with suitcases packed with over 100 pounds of pot.
As revealed in court documents, Jeremy Madix – who has made appearances on “Vanderpump Rules” alongside his famous sister – and Jonah Ahad were scheduled to board a February 16 flight to Frankfurt, Germany, from Orlando International Airport in Florida.
However, the duo never made it past the security checkpoint. Customs and Border Protection agents searched their three suitcases – two of which belonged to Madix – and discovered a massive stash of marijuana. In fact, authorities claim Madix’s suitcases contained 64 bags of pot weighing a staggering 76 pounds.
Ahad’s suitcase allegedly contained 31 bags of weed, weighing 37 pounds.
When detectives attempted to question the pair, Madix and Ahad refused to cooperate without their lawyers present, according to the documents.
Interestingly, neither man was arrested on the spot in February, and the reasons behind this decision remain unclear.
However, they were eventually booked on arrest warrants and charged with felony trafficking in cannabis. Ahad was arrested in May, while Madix was taken into custody last Tuesday.
