Travis Kelce Sets Conditions for Proposing to Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce, the three-time Super Bowl winner, is reportedly holding off on proposing to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, until they agree on a prenuptial agreement.
According to sources, Swift, a billionaire, and Kelce, worth an estimated $70 million, are committed to spending the rest of their lives together, but Kelce is adamant about securing a prenup before popping the question.
The couple started dating last year and made their relationship public when Swift attended a Kansas City Chiefs game, sitting alongside Kelce’s mom, Donna.
A source close to the couple revealed that they are “100 percent committed” to each other and starting a family, but the logistics of a prenup are holding them back.
Swift, currently on her Eras Tour, is expected to attend Kelce’s NFL games, including the upcoming season opener against the Baltimore Ravens.
Kelce, 34, recently signed a two-year deal with the Chiefs worth $17 million per season and is also in talks for a new deal for his podcast, New Heights, reportedly worth $100 million.
The couple’s relationship has led to increased interest in Kelce’s podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason.
Kelce is currently in camp preparing for the upcoming NFL season, and the Chiefs have a chance to make history by becoming the first team to win the Super Bowl three times in a row.
Swift has been spotted at multiple Chiefs games last season, including the Super Bowl, and is expected to attend as many games as possible this season.
Kelce has even made changes to his $6 million Kansas City mansion, upgrading the kitchen because Swift loves cooking.
Earlier this week, Patrick Mahomes joked that Swift was the reason Kelce grew his hair out recently, saying, “You got the old man (Kelce). I’ve been trying to get him to grow his hair out and all of a sudden, Taylor gets him to do it.”
