Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are still going strong, despite recent rumors suggesting they had called it quits.
A representative for Johnson, 34, confirmed the news, stating, “The reports are not true. They are happily together.”
The update comes after reports that Johnson and Martin, 47, had ended their engagement, citing Johnson’s recent outing in Los Angeles without her engagement ring as evidence. Meanwhile, Martin has been touring with his band, Coldplay, overseas.
Earlier this summer, Johnson was spotted supporting her fiancé at the Glastonbury Festival, where she cheered him on from a balcony alongside Martin’s children, Apple, 20, and Moses, 18, whom he shares with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
Johnson has been vocal about her support for Martin, recently gushing about watching him perform on stage.
“I love watching him. I could watch him every day. I don’t know how to explain it,” she said in a March interview. “I feel like, I don’t know … I’m watching my most favorite being do his most favorite thing. When people are really good at things, it is [sexy.]”
The couple, who have largely kept their romance out of the public eye, made headlines in March when news broke about their engagement.

Johnson has been open about her role as a stepparent, saying, “I love those kids like my life depends on it. With all my heart,” in a March interview. “I grew up in a family that was so big, and I just believe in the saying ‘Blood is thicker than water.’ The actual saying is ‘The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb,’ which means that the connections with people you choose are more solid than the connections to the people you’re actually born to.”
Johnson has even formed a close bond with Martin’s ex-wife, Paltrow, 51, who is married to Brad Falchuk. The actress has previously shared glimpses on social media of her unexpected friendship with Johnson.
“It took quite some time, but eventually, Gwyneth saw how amazing Dakota treated her kids,” a source said. “Seeing her love them with her whole heart really changed the way Gwyneth felt.”
