The “Madden NFL” franchise has long been a powerhouse in the gaming industry, consistently ranking as one of the most popular video games among enthusiasts.

In fact, NFL players often take a keen interest in their virtual counterparts, paying close attention to their player ratings in the game.

Recently, several NFL stars shared their favorite players and teams to play as in “Madden NFL.”

Puka Nacua, the talented young wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, revealed that he enjoys playing as quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who led the Green Bay Packers from 2008 to 2022.

Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons confessed that he used to play as Randy Moss during his time with the New England Patriots, but nowadays, he often plays as himself or switches between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.

Nacua also mentioned that he’s currently fond of playing as Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud.

The highly anticipated “Madden NFL 25” was officially released, marking a sort of unofficial holiday for gamers who are also NFL enthusiasts.

This year, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey takes center stage as the cover player, following an impressive season that saw him lead the league in rushing yards, total yards from scrimmage, and total touchdowns, earning him the Offensive Player of the Year award.

However, the so-called “Madden curse” has raised concerns, with many believing that the player featured on the cover of the game each year is doomed to suffer an injury or poor performance. Unfortunately, McCaffrey is currently dealing with a strained calf, fueling speculation about the curse’s validity.
