Tragic Final Words of Matthew Perry Revealed
Matthew Perry’s last words before his untimely passing have been made public. The actor, who was found unresponsive in his hot tub, asked his assistant to “shoot me up with a big one” three times, according to newly released court documents.
Iwamasa, who has been indicted on federal charges related to Perry’s death, reportedly administered three doses of ketamine to the actor on the day of his passing. The personal assistant, who has no medical training, claimed he gave Perry a total of 27 injections in the final five days of his life, following instructions from Salvador Plasencia.
Perry’s death was ruled as a result of the “acute effects of ketamine”. Five people, including Iwamasa, Jasveen Sangha (also known as “the Ketamine Queen”), Mark Chavez, Salvador Plasencia, and Erik Fleming, have been charged in connection with the investigation into the actor’s death.
In his memoir, Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing, Perry opened up about his past struggles with addiction, including his use of ketamine. He wrote that the drug was a popular street drug in the 1980s and that he would “disassociate” when using it.
Friends and family were reportedly “blindsided” and “saddened” by Iwamasa’s arrest, with one source close to Matthew revealing that the actor kept secrets about the severity of his addiction.
