The Seattle Seahawks may have fallen short of the NFL playoffs this season, but they boast a formidable duo at the wide receiver position.
Leading the charge is D.K. Metcalf, a two-time Pro Bowl selection, and alongside Tyler Lockett, fans are optimistic that the team can replicate their 2022 campaign and secure a postseason berth.
Fresh from the 2024 Paris Olympics, Metcalf was asked how he would fare in the 100-meter dash if he dedicated himself to the event.
“I’d win gold, no question,” Metcalf confidently stated in an interview.
If WR D.K. Metcalf ran in the 100m what would he win?

In the 100-meter dash, American Noah Lyles secured the top spot on the podium, but fell short in the 200-meter dash, eventually claiming bronze.
It was later revealed that Lyles was battling the coronavirus during the race.
Metcalf’s speed is undeniable, having clocked an impressive 4.33 seconds in the 40-yard dash before being selected as the last pick of the second round in the 2019 NFL Draft.
As a rookie, he amassed 58 catches for 900 yards and seven touchdowns, followed by a career-high 1,303 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in his sophomore season.
In 2023, he tallied 1,114 yards and eight touchdowns, though it wasn’t enough to propel the Seahawks into the postseason.
The team is now focused on bolstering their defense, which struggled in several categories last season, to make a push for the playoffs in a highly competitive NFC.
