Demi Moore was joined by her fellow Brat Pack members Ally Sheedy and Andrew McCarthy at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of a new documentary about their 1980s fame.
The Brat Pack was a group of young actors who embodied the fast-living spirit of the 1980s with their roles in popular films. The cohort included Demi, Ally, Andrew, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Molly Ringwald, and Anthony Michael Hall, among others.
Now, Andrew has directed a documentary titled “Brats” that explores the group’s rise to stardom during the hyper-glitzy Reagan Era. The film’s premiere on Friday marked a reunion for the trio, who co-starred in the 1985 coming-of-age drama “St. Elmo’s Fire,” 39 years ago.

“St. Elmo’s Fire,” directed by Joel Schumacher, featured an array of names that became synonymous with the Brat Pack. Demi, Andrew, and Ally were joined by Rob, Emilio, Judd Nelson, Andie MacDowell, Mare Winningham, and Martin Balsam in the film’s ensemble cast.
Despite negative reviews from critics, the film was a box office smash upon its release, propelling its young stars to fame. “Brats” also includes interviews with Jon Cryer, who clarifies that he was not part of the Brat Pack despite starring with Molly Ringwald in “Pretty in Pink.”
Jon, who rose to global fame alongside Emilio Estevez’s brother Charlie Sheen in “Two and a Half Men,” was a lively presence at the premiere. He posed for group photos with various Brat Pack members, including Demi, Andrew, and Ally.
Demi showcased her enviably slender figure in a fitted white top and matching high-waisted trousers for her latest public appearance. Her sleeveless blouse featured an elegant collar and brass buttons, which were also featured on her trousers, accentuating her long legs.

Demi’s dark hair tumbled freely over her shoulders, and she accessorized her look with ornate earrings and a matching bracelet. Jon cut a dapper figure in a silver suit without a tie, posing alongside his wife, Lisa Joyner, who wore a black ensemble.
Andrew, the mastermind behind “Brats,” opted for a navy suit over a powder blue shirt, forgoing a tie for a summery look. Ally modeled a sheer off-white blouse, tucked into trendy baggy trousers and paired with a boyfriend blazer.
Veteran Hollywood casting director Marci Liroff, whose work includes “St. Elmo’s Fire,” was also spotted on the red carpet of the “Brats” premiere.
Andrew, Demi, Ally, and Jon took to the stage at the BMCC Theater for an interview in front of the audience as part of the film festival. In the documentary, available on Hulu, Demi candidly shared her fears about making “St. Elmo’s Fire.”

She expressed her gratitude to Joel Schumacher for believing in her and casting her in the film, acknowledging that they could have easily chosen someone else. “Because it’s not like I had any box-office draw,” she reflected. “We were all just beginning. I didn’t have anything to really warrant him sticking by me.”
Demi also shared that she struggled with fears of failure and a desperate need to fit in during the filming. Additionally, she revealed that the studio paid for a sober companion to be with her 24/7 throughout the entire shooting, surprising Andrew.
