Country music star Dustin Lynch is addressing the rumors surrounding his love life, specifically his alleged relationship with reality TV personality Lindsay Hubbard.
Setting the Record Straight
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Lynch, 39, clarified that he and Hubbard, 37, are simply good friends. The singer shared that he is very much open to dating and is actively looking for a partner to share special moments with. However, he has chosen to avoid dating within his immediate circle, including those in the Nashville scene, to avoid any potential drama.
Lynch’s comments come after rumors circulated about a potential romance between him and Hubbard, who is known for her appearances on the Bravo reality series Summer House. The speculation began in November, following Hubbard’s split from her ex-fiancé and Summer House costar, Carl Radke, in August.
While the country star and the reality TV personality are not romantically involved, they are part of the same friend group in Nashville, and Lynch shared his support for Hubbard’s new endeavors in the city.
Lynch also opened up about his previous relationship with model Kelli Seymour, which ended in 2021, and his desire to find a partner he can trust and bring to events as his plus one.
During an appearance on Nick Viall’s podcast, “The Viall Files,” in November, Hubbard playfully hinted at a potential connection with Lynch, stating that he says “hi.” However, a source close to the pair clarified that they were not dating and were just friends.
More recently, in May, Hubbard revealed on the “Bitch Bible” podcast that she was dating someone she had previously been involved with during the COVID-19 pandemic. She described their relationship as a “boomerang,” where they initially parted ways but ultimately found their way back to each other.
Lynch, who has expressed his preference for long-distance relationships in the past, shared his thoughts on dating during an appearance on Viall’s podcast in September 2023. He explained that he avoids dating people within his immediate circle to prevent any potential drama and that he finds comfort in long-distance relationships, where he can spend a few days with his partner before missing them again.
