Britney Spears has made a surprising revelation about her personality, crediting a specific change she made last year for a significant shift in her demeanor.
The pop sensation took to Instagram to share a throwback video from exactly a year ago, showcasing her transformation after dyeing her hair platinum blonde for the first time.
‘First time I went platinum blonde ever!!!’ she wrote, accompanied by a series of emojis. ‘Honestly, it was a huge difference!!! I became this cool character right when the camera came on!!!! Then I don’t know what happened!!!’

In her 2007 album Blackout, she wore a jet black wig, but quickly returned to her signature blonde look for the Circus album two years later.
In recent years, Spears has experimented with various shades, including red, pink, and purple.
Though she has been blonde for most of her 25-year career, she only went platinum blonde last year.
In her tell-all book, The Woman In Me, Spears revealed that her natural hair color is actually black.
She wrote: ‘I’m not offended by all the dumb blonde jokes because I know I’m not dumb. And I also know that I’m not blonde. My real hair color is black.’
