When you’re at the helm of a Super Bowl-caliber team, the expectations are sky-high.
If you fail to meet those lofty standards, you might find yourself job hunting come season’s end.
This could be the reality for Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, according to former NFL wide receiver and analyst Andrew Hawkins, who ranks Sirianni as the top NFL head coach on shaky ground.
“He’s got his quarterback, he’s got a talented offense, and yet they still managed to implode last season,” Hawkins stated.

In Philadelphia, the bar has been set extremely high over the past five years.
For instance, even after delivering a Super Bowl title in 2017, former head coach Doug Pederson was let go after just five seasons.
Nick Sirianni has guided the Eagles to three consecutive playoff appearances, a Super Bowl appearance, and 36 total wins (including playoffs) during his tenure.
However, as Hawkins pointed out, the team’s late-season collapse last year is a major concern.
They finished 11-6 and were eliminated in the wildcard round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Sirianni has a talented roster at his disposal, particularly on offense, which is why he might need to make a deep playoff push to secure his job.
Anything short of an NFC Championship appearance, with players like Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, and a strong defense, would likely be deemed unacceptable.
