George Clooney has revealed his frustration with Quentin Tarantino, saying the director made some disparaging comments about him.
Clooney and Tarantino collaborated on the 1996 thriller From Dusk ‘Till Dawn, which was written by Tarantino early in his career. However, despite their past collaboration, Tarantino reportedly made some negative comments about Clooney, which did not sit well with the actor.

In a joint interview with Brad Pitt for GQ, Clooney said: ‘Quentin said some stuff about me recently, so I’m a little irritated by him.’ He went on to explain that Tarantino had made a comment about Clooney’s film career, saying that he couldn’t think of a movie the actor had been in since the millennium.
Clooney was not impressed, saying: ‘So now I’m like, all right, dude, [expletive] off. I don’t mind giving him [expletive]. He gave me [expletive].’ Despite his irritation, Clooney acknowledged that directors like Tarantino are essential to the film industry, saying: ‘We’re really lucky to work with great directors, and that’s what keeps you alive.’

Clooney went on to praise his long-time friend Brad Pitt, saying that he was the ‘best at understanding’ and that he calls him on ‘numerous occasions’ when things get ‘bumpy’. The two actors have starred together in several films, including Ocean’s Eleven, and have developed a close friendship over the years.
In the interview, Clooney and Pitt also discussed their 80s mullets, with things getting competitive between the pair. Clooney insisted that his locks were better, while Pitt claimed his was the ‘one of the greatest that ever existed’.

Their latest film together, Wolves, sees the pair portray two stubborn ‘lone wolf’ professional fixers whose lives are upended when they are assigned the same job.
