As Stassie began her eye makeup, she explained the reason for her trip and how the one-year anniversary of her mother’s passing is approaching.

‘I’m so grateful to be here on this vacation,’ she said. ‘Just getting out of LA and taking a little break. I think ever since June hit, it’s been a very surreal feeling knowing that it’s coming up—literally in the next three weeks—the one-year anniversary of my mom’s passing.’

Meanwhile, Stassie will turn 27 on June 9, sharing with viewers, ‘It’s also my birthday this weekend.’
