Aaron Rodgers Expresses Regret Over Controversial Covid-19 Comments
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has finally expressed remorse for his handling of the coronavirus vaccine controversy. Rodgers has been vocal about his anti-vaccination stance and has shared conspiracy theories about the vaccine and the disease itself since the lockdown began in 2020.
The controversy surrounding Rodgers’ refusal to take the coronavirus vaccine dominated the end of his 18-year tenure with the Green Bay Packers. His comments about being “immunized” against Covid-19 sparked widespread criticism, and he was forced to miss games and practices as a result.

In an upcoming autobiography, Rodgers stated that if he could do it again, he would have said, “F*** the appeal. I’m just going to tell them I’m allergic to PEG, I’m not getting Johnson & Johnson, I’m not going to be vaxxed.” Rodgers has claimed to be allergic to polyethylene glycol, an ingredient in the coronavirus vaccines.
Rodgers had shared his anti-vaxx beliefs on “The Pat McAfee Show” and had even appeared on the show multiple times during the 2023 NFL season after tearing his Achilles four offensive snaps into his New York Jets career. His appearances on the show led to speculation about his potential candidacy as vice-presidential running mate for third-party candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
