**Hoda Kotb Celebrates 60th Birthday with Ex-Fiancé Joel Schiffman and Their Daughters**

Hoda Kotb marked a major milestone – her 60th birthday – surrounded by loved ones, including her ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman and their adorable daughters, Hope and Haley.
The _Today_ cohost took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the outpouring of birthday wishes, saying, “Thx for all of the wonderful bday wishes!!!! My party was perfect!”
Hoda shared a heartwarming photo with her friends and family, complete with festive balloons and decor, and revealed that the only downside was her sister, Hala Kotb, being absent due to illness. “We missed you Hala — ❤❤❤,” she added.
Earlier in the day, Hoda had shared a glimpse of her special morning, spent with her family at home. “Great bday morning!! Lucky me xoxoxo,” she wrote, alongside a series of photos, including one of her opening presents with her daughters.
The birthday celebration comes over two years after Hoda and Joel called off their engagement. In a January 2022 episode of _Today With Hoda & Jenna_, Hoda revealed that they had decided to part ways, saying, “Joel and I have had a lot of prayerful and really meaningful conversations over the holidays, and we decided that we’re better as friends and parents than we are as an engaged couple.”
Despite their split, the pair have remained close, with Hoda even giving a sweet shoutout to Joel on Father’s Day. “Happy father’s day to the best dad!” she wrote, alongside a sweet photo of Joel and their daughters.
In recent months, Hoda has begun dipping her toe back into the dating pool, announcing in March that she had gone on a date for the first time in two years. She later gushed about going on her third date with a mystery man, saying, “I think it was just the kind of fun of talking about something that wasn’t kids and wasn’t work… And he’s really handsome.”
