Suri Cruise, the 18-year-old daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, was spotted soaking up the sun in New York City on Saturday, just a week before she’s set to start her college journey at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The teenager, who recently graduated from the prestigious LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, looked relaxed as she strolled down the sidewalk with a black tote bag slung over her shoulder.
Suri rocked a casual blue tank top paired with cutoff black sweatpants and white drawstring, and opted for a makeup-free look for her solo outing.

Suri, who bears a striking resemblance to her actress mom, has been living with Katie in NYC since 2012.
The teenager has reportedly been accepted to study fashion at Carnegie Mellon, a prestigious college that has churned out a number of celebrities, including Al Pacino, Liza Minnelli, and Jennifer Aniston.
Suri’s father, Tom Cruise, has been absent from her life in recent years, except financially, according to sources.
Despite their divorce in 2012, Katie has been vocal about her pride in Suri, saying she’s a “smart girl” who’s turning into a “very intelligent mature young woman.”
However, Katie is said to be “overwhelmed” at the prospect of Suri leaving the nest and starting college in Pittsburgh.
