**Manchester City’s Jack Grealish to Miss Community Shield Clash with Manchester United**
Manchester City’s Jack Grealish has suffered a late injury in training and will reportedly miss the Community Shield clash with Manchester United. The 28-year-old was in line to start against the Red Devils having appeared in every pre-season friendly this summer.
Grealish’s injury comes as a setback for the forward, who was left out of England’s Euro 2024 squad. He endured a difficult campaign last season and was forced to watch from home as the Three Lions were beaten by Spain in the final.

Despite the injury, Grealish has impressed Pep Guardiola during City’s tour of the United States this summer. Guardiola praised Grealish’s commitment and trying, saying “What I’ve seen so far here, one week in the pre-season on tour, I loved it.”
Grealish is hoping to return to his best again having also suffered injury problems last term. City will be without Euro 2024 finalists John Stones, Kyle Walker, Phil Foden, and Rodri after they recently returned to training following an extended break.
