Jessica Simpson Enjoys a Night Out with Friends in Hollywood

The 44-year-old actress was spotted having a late dinner at Mother Wolf in Hollywood, looking stunning in a dusty rose dress with black flowers.

Simpson paired her outfit with tan strappy sandals, a turquoise necklace, rings, silver cuff bracelets, and a large silver handbag. Her long, thick blonde hair was parted in the middle and straight, and she was seen waving to photographers as she left the restaurant.

Earlier this week, Simpson addressed a fan’s speculation about her sobriety on Instagram. The fan had accused her of drinking again, but Simpson was quick to respond and clarify the status of her sobriety.

‘I haven’t wanted or touched alcohol since October 2017, and it has been the best decision I’ve made for myself and for my family,’ she wrote. ‘Thank You for your concern, but you have me very misunderstood. Sending love your way.’

Simpson has been open about her struggles with addiction and her journey to sobriety. In her memoir, Open Book, she wrote about how she used to drink and take pills to cope with the pressures of fame and her personal life.

‘I was killing myself with all the drinking and pills,’ she wrote. ‘Giving up the alcohol was easy. I was mad at that bottle. At how it allowed me to stay complacent and numb.’

Simpson is also working on new music and recently teased a photo outside of Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles.

Captioned only with a musical note emoji, Simpson’s post comes after she previously teased a new project. In December, she shared, ‘I’m feelin’ extra grateful today for excitin’ new opportunities and inspirin’ meetings regardin’ music and new entertainment endeavors.’

Simpson said her children inspired her to return to performing when she realized how much she’d love to have them see her perform.
