Now, the godfather to their youngest son — one-year-old Olin — has come forward himself, and he has a major connection to Ryan’s latest box office hit, Deadpool & Wolverine (pictured)

In a recent interview, the director of Deadpool & Wolverine, Shawn Levy, revealed that he has taken on the role of Olin’s godfather.

Levy shared the news while discussing how all four of Ryan and Blake’s children were given cameos as alternate universe versions of Deadpool in the film.

“Little by little, all of the Reynoldses started being a part of the movie, including their youngest,” he explained. “As the proud godfather of Olin, that might be my favorite voice cameo.”

Olin provided the vocals for a briefly glimpsed character known as Babypool.

Blake also made a cameo as Ladypool, a female version of Deadpool who appears to be Babypool’s mother, while Inez voiced Kidpool.

James was involved as a screaming mutant character, and Betty was credited at the end of the film as “Hugh Jackman wrangler.”

In April, Shawn revealed that he and Ryan had “become extremely close friends” after working together repeatedly.

Shawn, who hails from Canada like Ryan, has developed a significant friendship with the actor after working together on 2021’s Free Guy and the Netflix science fiction film The Adam Project.

After taking over the franchise with Deadpool & Wolverine, Levy worked with his friend again. Prior to that, he made a name for himself by directing popular comedies including Night At The Museum and Date Night, and he also previously collaborated with Deadpool & Wolverine star Hugh Jackman on 2011’s Real Steel.
