Country star Jelly Roll recently showcased his compassionate side when he spotted a fan using an IV drip at his concert.

During his performance at the Tailgates N’ Tallboys festival in Midland, Michigan, Jelly Roll noticed the woman in the crowd and pointed her out, saying, “I’ve seen some wild things at my shows, but this young lady is out here with a full-blown IV.” In a video uploaded to TikTok, the fan revealed that she is a cancer survivor.

Moved by her story, Jelly Roll instructed his team to get her a chair so she could watch the rest of the show from a comfortable spot. He then addressed the fan directly, saying, “We’ll get you off your feet, baby. OK?”

The heartwarming moment quickly went viral on TikTok, with fans praising Jelly Roll’s kindness and compassion.

“We must protect this man at all costs. The world needs more of him,” one user wrote, while another gushed, “I was there and saw this happen. He is an amazing person with a big heart and a lot of compassion.”

Jelly Roll has been making waves in the music industry with hits like “Need a Favor” earning him a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. However, it’s his acts of kindness that truly set him apart.

Last year, Jelly Roll made a terminally ill cancer patient’s dying wish come true by performing a private show for her. The patient, Suzanne Durham, worked as a house manager for women recovering from drug and alcohol addiction and had struggled with addiction herself.

“I’m glad I could come to visit you,” Jelly Roll told Durham during the visit. “This is cool, and I’m glad you had some friends come too. I was coming to you if you were by yourself in a bed. … I got choked up earlier not about [your] situation but because I was able to serve a woman who spent her life serving.”

“There were moments in my life that were so dark, there was absolutely no hope or sense of there being something else [other than] that,” Jelly Roll said. “I wouldn’t have known to dream anything otherwise, and definitely not to the extent of what the past year alone has brought.”
